So let’s see where things stand since we last posted fairly regularly. A lot of ups, a lot of downs, the wheels on the bus go round and round.
I am sitting in Saks Fifth Ave in the prom dress area on 4 as I write this. Took a moment to pause the rat race and am listening to my friend DJ Vidal spin classic hits by Madonna, George Michael and Hall and Oates, blended flawlessly with modern hits by Beyonce, Niki Minaj and more, thinking back over 18 years of my life and forward to what and where the next 18 years will bring.
There is so much to be grateful for in life. Oh snap! Lisa Lisa/Cult Jam “Take You Home!” You go girl!!! Perfectly timed right into “Let the Music Play!”
That’s exactly what I mean right there. We get so caught up in the constant strive for greatness, sometimes we forget to stop and enjoy the view, smell the roses or in this case, listen to the music. When we forget to do that, we make it a struggle rather than the joyful journey that it’s meant to be!
It’s been a long time since I have contributed on a regular basis. If it takes me slowing things down a bit and enjoying the groove a bit more, then so be it. I finally realized that, there’s no need to rush life along. Nobody gets out alive anyway, so we may as well slow things down a bit and enjoy the ride as we go along.
DAY-UM!!! Now I’m getting some Rufus and Chaka Kahn “Do you like what you feel?” I sure do!
Grab that ring in life. Enjoy it along the way as well. We are all one people!
“I wanna dance all, I wanna dance all, I wanna dance all night!”
I’m Rick James trick!
“Give it me baby!” Lol
Holy time travel Batman! I just realized that my last post was in May of 2011!
In the world of blogging that’s like my blog died! Well you know what they say, ashes to ashes and dust to dust. From death comes life and sometimes that is when we are reborn into something greater!
So I added a page today for your Celebrity gawking desires.
It is a map of celebrities living in NYC. Some are missing, but it’s a pretty solid list.
Okay, I have been away for a while.
Life threw me more than I could even write about.
It is what it is so I let it do what it do for a few.
In the meantime, there was all of this talk about the rapture and what would happen on May 21st at a certain time on the face of the Earth.
You peep that pic above? How could you not right?
There’s a long story behind it but I’ll keep it simple for you. The caption to the left reads, “Master the illusion”.
We have all been deceived and had wool pulled over our eyes for way too long. I have always been a believer in everything happens for a reason. There is a reason that I saw this today after my blog hiatus. In the blog-o-sphere, it may as well have been a Osama-Bin-Laden hiding or a kidnapping.
I didn’t go anywhere, I was just mastering my force and those illusions. We are all still here. Dude must be tight he spent his life savings on a PR campaign at the end of the day. Him and Osama and Barack Obama are all celebrities if you really evaluate the supreme mathematics of it all.
The amount of related links is testament to how powerful the campaign was. If only I could get a campaign like that going for Manhattan Real Estate, I could change the world we live in before the next doomsday!
There are many places we can all go. It is up to us where we all decide to go on our own roads. I am following that blue light onwards and upwards. There is a yin and yang to the life we live in and we all need to embrace both sides of that “coin”. Fear is only here to keep us from advancing. The purpose of life is to advance.
The name of my blog is “Hat Man CAN Do”. So if it is what it is, then let it do what it do.

If you had to pick the one thing in your life that you are most grateful for what would it be?
We can always name the obvious such as health, children, material belongings and wealth. I want you to dig deeper though. Find something that is not as tangible. Find something that is uniquely your own.
For example, I am most grateful for each day that I get through life’s challenges and wake up to tackle it all again. If you look at how many people are born and die daily, the chance to make it through each day and into another is the greatest gift in my opinion.
Yes we can all succeed and fail quite often in life. To me, having the chance to do it, is what makes life so beautiful. A great athlete once said, you miss one hundred percent of the shots you don’t take.
Today is another day and I am blessed enough to be able to take a few shots, make a few shots and miss a few shots. What are you most grateful for?
